Le ventilateur aspire l&#8217;air ambiant. La chaleur de cet air extrait est c\u00e9d\u00e9e au gaz r\u00e9frig\u00e9rant. Ce gaz est comprim\u00e9 dans le compresseur, ce qui a pour effet de le r\u00e9chauffer davantage et de le rendre liquide. Dans le condenseur, ce liquide c\u00e8de sa chaleur \u00e0 l&#8217;eau du r\u00e9servoir. Lorsque le liquide se refroidit, il passe par le d\u00e9tendeur et se transforme \u00e0 nouveau en gaz.
